Dallas (girl)

• My friends always tease me about this name as I live in Australia and they're always talking about how I'm so American (I'm not... I just like Mac'Doanlds and some American television shows... they exaggerate) and since Dallas is an American city or state (Don't have a clue). The reason I love this name though is because it's not a harsh sounding name and it just rolls of the tongue yet it's not a really girly prissy name. I think Dallas Rose is the perfect combo. I don't really like Rose but it goes perfect and I can't think of any others that would go so well. This one is MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE! It also mean wise which is beautiful.
• Dallas Eve: i know you already have the first name on the boys name page but i think it sounds better as a girls name because it sounds fresher & more unusual on a girl!

It's popularity probably comes from the fact that Dallas is a major city in the U.S. state of Texas, as well as the name of a popular television show in the 1980s.
